The annual Milano ISD scholarship golf tournament will be held on Saturday, May 19 at the Rockdale Country Club. Cost is $75 per player and is a four-person scramble event. The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
Prizes will be handed out for first through third place teams, longest drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one. All net proceeds will fund scholarships for graduating Milano students. For more information, contact Milano ISD, 512-455-2533, golf@milanoisd.net or visit www.milanoisd.net.
BOX TOPS—Please be sure to send your Box Tops for Education to Milano Elementary School, or contact me and I will get them from you. The deadline to turn them in for this school year is May 18.
ATHLETIC BANQUET—The Milano High School athletic banquet has been set for 6 p.m. May 14 at the high school cafetorium.
FFA BANQUET—The Milano FFA banquet will be held at 6 p.m. on May 10, also at the high school cafetorium.
