Meet Chester.
He is a 14-year-old, microchipped Rat Terrier/ Chihuahua mix, weighing 14 pounds. Chester is dog-friendly and kennel trained. He is sweet, elderly dog that wants to please and loves to be in someone’s lap. —-———— Rockdale Animal Shelter is always looking for volunteers to help socialize our dogs (even if that means just sitting on the back porch and throwing a ball for a while). Any positive interaction with people helps them on their way to finding a forever home.
The shelter goes through a lot of cleaning supplies ever y week. Things like towels, detergent, sponges, dish soap, bleach and trash bags are always appreciated. And, of course, we can use any food we can get.
