Modesette reunion set June 3 at Taylor park
TAYLOR—The annual Modesette family reunion will be held Sunday, June 3, at Murphy Park pavilion, located at 1600 Veterans Drive off Lake Drive in Taylor.
Arrival time will be 10 a.m. and a covered-dish luncheon will be served at noon. Attendees are asked to bring a favorite dish. Utensils, bread and drinks will be furnished. Family and friends are welcome.

Downey family reunion set June 9 at Milano
MILANO—Children of J.T. Downey and Mozelle Williamson Downey will host the annual Downey family reunion from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Milano Senior Citizens Center.
For the lunch at noon, barbecue, bread and drinks will be provided. Attendees are asked to bring a salad, vegetable or dessert.
Also attendees are asked to bring an item for the auction fund-raiser. “Items do not have to be new,” said Mary Dock-all, publicist. “Remember, your trash may be someone’s treasure.”
Favorite baked goods—cakes, cookies or candy—are also suggested auction items. “Please also bring any photos from prior events that you would like to share,” Dock-all said.

RHS Class of 1948 sets reunion June 2
RHS Class of 1948 is planning its 70th class reunion for Saturday, June 2, at Ginno’s Restaurant, 1200 W. Cameron Ave., Rockdale. It will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch at 1 p.m.

Buckholts homecoming set June 2 at SPJST
BUCKHOLTS—The annual Buckholts School reunion and homecoming will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Buckholts SPJST Hall. The reunion is open to everyone, not just past and present Buckholts area residents.
Catered barbecue plates of chicken and sausage will be served for from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., priced at $9 a plate.
RHS Class of 1968 slates 50th reunion
Rockdale High School Class of 1968 is planning its 50th reunion for Saturday, Aug. 11.
The reunion will be held at the Apache Pass Steakhouse, 9132 N. FM 908.
It will begin at 3 p.m. with a social hour and the kitchen will open for the reunion from 4 to 5.
“Each person will be responsible for their own tickets,” Wayne Bennett, class spokesman, said. “We will ask for donations to cover the event center cost.”
“After supper, we will have until closing to catch up with each other,” he added.
