Milano First Baptist Church will hold its Vacation Bible School starting July 29 through August 2. Time is 6-8:30 p.m. each night at the church.
EAGLE BLANKETS—Milano Parents Club is selling Milano Eagle blankets through July 31. The blankets are maroon with gold lettering and a gold Eagle head. Make checks payable to Milano ISD. For more information, email milanoparentsclub@gmail.com.
MEET THE TEACHERS AND EAGLES— Milano ISD has announced its annual Meet the Teachers and Meet the Eagles events for the 2018-19 school year. The Meet the Teachers will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 16 at all three campuses. The Meet the Eagles event will be held at 7 p.m. in Geneva Paceley Gym.
BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION—With the start of school less than a month away, it is time to start collecting Box Tops for Education for Milano Elementary School. Those little coupons equal free money for our school and students.
Let me know if you need me to swing by and pick them up or you can send them to Milano Elementary School with your favorite student.
KRISTI’S KRUSADERS—The annual Kristi’s Krusaders MS Rally for a Cure event will be held Sept. 8 at Nat’s in Milano. This one will be for Kristi (Bode). The event will include a motorcycle run, barbecue meal, live auction, a raffle, 50/50 drawing, T-shirt sales and live music from both Brooke Graham and Chris Kleiber.
