Lots of students and parents are looking forward to the start of the 2018-19 school term. For one group it’s already started. The Rockdale High School Big Blue Band, under the direction of Adrian Acevedo, is well into pre-season marching practice. It’s being held on a school-owned lot west of Murray Street Church of Christ due to stadium construction at the athletic complex. Practices continue next week with a band camp.
