RJH’s principles of agriculture, food, natural resources class

Principles of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources is a CTE eighth-grade course that covers different sectors of agriculture throughout the year. Students are exposed to many different areas of agriculture, which gives them the opportunity to find out what their interests might be.

UIL band solo and ensemble contest results

On Saturday, Feb. 18, several Rockdale High School band members participated in the UIL Region 26/18 Band Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Smithville High School.

Responded to: • 1331 East Cameron Avenue for a pole on fire on Tuesday.   • 907 Northwood Circle for a brush fire on Tuesday.   • Rockdale High School along with the Rockdale Police Department and Milam County Sheriff’s Office for a report of a bomb threat which was unfounded on Thursday.

Rockdale PD officers make 3 felony arrests during past week

Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past week including: • Johnathan Keano-Xavier Fate, 30, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Ofc. Corey Puente on a local warrant for assault impeding breath/circulation family violence.

Great turnout reported for Milano VFD chili supper

Milano VFD had an amazing turn out at the annual chili supper. (See photo, page 6A.) Thank you to everyone for all of your support. A huge thank you to everyone that helped with the meal. The teachers in Milano got a sneak preview and were all very grateful.
