Three felony arrests, four traffic accidents during the past week

Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past week including: • Bryan Freeman, 27, Cameron, was arrested by Sgt. Hubnik for burglary of habitation and prohibited substance in a correctional facility. He was transported to Milam County Jail.

FIRE CALLS

Responded to: • 5120 North FM 487 for a report of a grass fire pm Wednesday.   • Rockdale Meat Market for a barbecue pit on fire behind the building on Wednesday.   • US 77/FM 908 for a two-vehicle accident on Friday.   • 400 Hickory Street for a report of a cable wire smoking and melting on Friday.

Two delicious hot pasta recipes

This pasta dish has jarred cherry peppers in it, so it’s a little spicy but not outrageously so. If you’re totally spice-averse you could use cut up cherry tomatoes in their place. What else could you add? Onions, Kalamata olives, mushrooms, a touch of vinegar from the jarred peppers.

Young adults, as you get older, you will have places to go on a weekly basis—to the doctor! I have a hemifacial spasm and I have to have shots in my face. I don’t mind having the shots to stop the twitching of my eye. I know when it is time for another. I’m not complaining, it could be a lot worse.
