American Legion Turkey Shoot May 15 American Legion Post 358 will hold a turkey shoot on Sunday, May 15 at 2534 North FM 487. Food and drinks start at 11 a.m. with the shooting competition starting at noon. Twelve-gage with maximum barrel length 32” including choke. Ammunition provided.

36 attend the 86th annual Nelson Reunion

The 86th annual Nelson Family Reunion was held at Milano First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Sunday. There were 36 family and family friends that attended the reunion.

Dewberry Jam Fiesta 5K big success Sunday

Service Sorority Alpha Tau Delta held their annual Dewberry Jam Fiesta 5K on Sunday assisted by Tiger Head Coach Jacob Campsey and his RHS athletes for help with the run, and the Rockdale Volunteer Fire department for traffic control. Here are the results. Sunday’s 5K results GIRLS 10-12 1.
