CARE PACKAGES—The American Legion Post 358 boxed up packages for active-duty service members from Milam County on Sunday which were packed full of all kinds of goodies for each soldier as part of their new initiative #Post358Cares.

VFD annual fundraiser tickets on sale

The Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual fundraiser at the KC Hall on April 23 from 5 p.m. to midnight. A meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. Ticket sales began on Feb. 14 and are $150 per couple.

Rockdale PD makes two felony arrests over past week

Christian maturity

Our baby girl Klaire is 23 years old and she is about to get her masters degree and then start her career in education. She wants to teach second grade. I can see her doing that and even being good at that but I am just a little biased.
