The Rockdale Municipal Development District will meet in special session at 6 p.m. Friday in the MDD Building to hear a presentation on the cultivation, processing and distribution of industrialized hemp.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL CAMPS

Cowboy Christian camp for teens Signup for Summer Cowboy Church camp in Oklahoma is underway at the Milam County Cowboy Church.

Gause Baptist Church youth and pre-teen car washes will be held Saturday. Proceeds from this activity will help pay their way to summer church camps. One car wash will be held in Gause and one in Hearne. Follow the signs and get your vehicle washed.

There are still helpful, and honest, people in the world. A couple of Fridays ago, Daniel Marek (R) found a Citizens National Bank envelope containing money next to his truck at Brookshire Bros.
