CAMERON—Frances Ann Adcox, 75, of Cameron, formerly of Minerva, died Tuesd ay, Mar c h 18, 2025, in a Temple hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.

Visitation will be Friday, March 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Adcox was born Nov. 14, 1949, in Temple to Arnold “Tut” and Theresa (Giesie) Urban.

She had worked as a bus driver and, later, a dispatcher for Hill Country Transportation.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Weston Adcox, and by a brother, Raymond Urban.

Survivors are three sons, James Adcox II and wife Patricia, Dennis Adcox and wife Teri, all of Cameron, Michael Adcox and wife Melissa of Schulenburg; a brother, John Urban of Cameron; and a sister, Kathleen Thorpe of Cameron; also, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
