Andrea Louise Holmes, 55, of Rockdale died Saturday, July 5, 2025, at her home.
Mrs. Holmes , a homemaker, was born March 22, 1970, in Fresno, California, to Norma Mills.
She married Micheal Sean Holmes on May 21, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David Mills, and mother, Norma Mills.
Andrea is lovingly remembered by her husband, Micheal Holmes; her children, DJ Robison and wife Alyssa, Sia Mills, Johne Herbison and wife Stacey, Shawna Kuenstler and husband Justin; and her nine grandchildren, Dustin Robison, Masia Robison, Destiny Robison, Cali Robison, Ford Herbison, Jeffery Kuenstler, John Micheal Holmes, Kylie Kuenstler and Colten Kuenstler.
A gifted baker with a heart full of warmth, Andrea expressed her love through the treats she created—especially her famous “diabetes cookies,” which brought joy to many. Her kitchen was a place of comfort where sweet memories were made and shared.
Andrea’s faith was a guiding light throughout her life and especially during her illness. It sustained her with grace and courage and uplifted those around her. Her unwavering hope served as an anchor for all who walked beside her during difficult times.
Though she is no longer physically present, Andrea’s legacy lives on in every cherished recipe passed down and every story shared at family gatherings. Her spirit continues to inspire love and togetherness in the hearts of those who knew her.
