An active member of his community, Robert was deeply involved in his churches, Grace Lutheran Church in Rockdale and St. Mathews Lutheran Church in Spokane, Washington. These places of worship reflected his faith and commitment to service.

He was known for his loving nature, a trait that made him a beloved figure in his community.

A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, at Grace Lutheran Church in Rockdale.
