Tim Brown, 59, of Lexington died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Hugh Wilson Cemetery in Tanglewood.
Visitation is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Lexington.
Mr. Brown was born March 4, 1958, in Austin to Donald C. and Peggy (Longmire) Brown.
He graduated from Lexington High School in 1976 and from Tarleton State University in 1980.
Mr. Brown worked at Alcoa for many years before retiring.
He served for years on the Lexington City Council and he enjoyed hunting, shooting, and spending time with his dog “Lucy.”
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Brown.
Survivors are a daughter, Anne Brown-Alexander and husband Corey of Lexington; his mother, Peggy Longmire Brown of Lexington; two sisters, Lisa Brown Gaeke and husband Doug of Giddings, and Kelley Brown of Lexington; a niece, Audra Gaeke Mayberry of Frisco; a nephew, Drew Gaeke and wife Emily of Giddings; and a great-nephew, Wyatt.
