Kelsey Marie Chudej, 28, of Rockdale died Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 17, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Brad Dusenberry officiating. Burial followed at Corinth Cemetery in Buckholts.
Ms. Chudej was born Oct. 28, 1989, in Temple to Allen Dale and Leslie Marie (Nink) Chudej.
She was a cheerleader, high school athlete excelling in track, and was a 2008 graduate of Rockdale High School.
Ms. Chudej enjoyed camping, fishing, going to the beach, and “acting like a goofball,” especially in pictures.
She was often known as “Tooter,” a name affectionately given to her by her dad.
Ms. Chudej was a member of the Milam County Cowboy Church, where she was baptized.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ayden Barker; her maternal grandfather, Joseph Rudolph Nink; her maternal great-grandparents, Charlie and Bennie Mayer; her paternal great-grandparents, John and Lilly Chudej; an uncle, James Randall Nink; and an aunt, Edith Elaine Nink.
Survivors are two sons, Peyton Blake Moony and William Joe Jackson, both of Rockdale; her parents, Allen Dale and Leslie Marie Chudej of Buckholts; a brother, Allen Coy Chudej of Missouri; a sister, Ashton Lee Chudej of Rockdale; her maternal grandmother, Betty Jo Nink of Rockdale; her paternal grandfather, Johnny “Papa Chudej” Joe Chudej; and her paternal grandmother, Rebecca Jo Mayer of Buckholts.
Pallbearers were Jay Oppermann, Joshua Roach, Allen Chudej, Tom Kleinschmidt, Raymond Nink and Joey Meyer.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Kirk and David Raymond.
