Humberto “Robert” “Ber-to” DeLeon, 54, of Bryan, formerly of Rockdale, died Tuesday July 2, 2019, in College Station.

Mass was held Tuesday, July 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale with Father Pedro Castillo officiating. Burial was at Salty Cemetery near Thorn-dale.

Rosary was recited Monday, July 8, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Mr. DeLeon was born May 1, 1965, in El Paso to Jesus and Dora Lidia (Moreno-Salazar) DeLeon. He lived most of his life in Rockdale until recently moving to Bryan.

He attended Rockdale High School and completed HVAC school.

Mr. DeLeon was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale.

He worked in demolition construction and had previously worked at Intercraft and the Rockdale Country Club for 10-plus years.

Mr. DeLeon was a University of Texas Longhorn fan and was an outdoors-man, enjoying hunting, fishing, golfing and barbecuing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus DeLeon on May 18, 2019.

Survivors are his sons, Antonio DeLeon and wife Kelseia of San Antonio, Humberto Ramon DeLeon Jr. and wife Yesenia of Rock-dale; his daughters, Anna Marie DeLeon and husband Leonard White of Tennessee, Francisca Ann DeLeon of Bryan, Bernadette Rosa DeLeon of Bryan; a stepson, Simon Llanas of Bryan; his mother, Dora Lidia DeLeon of Rockdale; his children’s mother, Lucy Aldama of Rockdale.

Also, his sisters, Dora Ellia Casas, Irma DeLeon Moreno and husband John, all of Rockdale, Martha DeLeon Balli and husband Eliazar of San Antonio, Leticia DeLeon-Kuehn and husband Roger of Rose-hill, Kansas, Cynthia DeLeon Ybarra and husband Andre of Hutto; his brothers, Juan Miguel DeLeon of Waco, Jesus DeLeon Jr., and wife Shannon of Rockdale.

Also, nine grandchildren, Jana Mariarossi, Joseph Mariarossi, Luka DeLeon, Camila DeLeon, Valentina DeLeon, Steven DeLeon, Marcus DeLeon, Juan Hernandez and Alezandro Hernandez.

Pallbearers were John DeLeon, Jesus DeLeon, Antonio DeLeon, Humberto DeLeon Jr., Simon Llanas and Billy Tindel.
