Karen Rheatte Leath, 73, died on Friday, March 21, 2025, at a San Antonio hospital.
She was born on April 18, 1951, in Brazos County, the daughter of James Dudley Leath and Doris Dell Moody.
Rheatte graduated from Yoe High School in Cameron in 1969.
Following graduation, she attended Temple Junior College and graduated with an associates degree.
Rheatte worked for the Alcoa Atomizer and retired from there after 25 years of services.
She was proceeded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her four children, Thomas Wade Timmerman, James Ward Timmerman, Steven Robert Selgelid and Briana Rheatte Selgelid; also, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at Minerva-Midway Cemetery on County Road 232 in Minerva.
