Kenneth Ray Knox, 75, of Rockdale died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at his home after a long battle with cancer.

Per his wishes there will be no funeral or burial services. He donated his body to Texas A&M Medical Science Department.

Mr. Knox was born in Sinton on Sept. 9, 1942, to Ray and Arminti (Barbara) Knox. He was the oldest of four children.

He graduated from Sinton High School in 1960.

He married Billie Hale on Oct. 6, 1962, and they had four children.

Mr. Knox moved to Rockdale after retiring from Central Power & Light.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Barbara, and his brothers, Larry Wayne Knox and Frank Anthony Knox.

Survivors are his sister, Judy Traber of Sinton; his children Debbie (Eddy) Strong of Caldwell, Russell (Pam) Knox of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Karen (Randy) Wrinkle of Rockdale, Kenneth Wayne (Christina) Knox of Cedar Park; his eight grandchildren, Nicolaus LaRocca, Kayla LaRocca, Meghann Wrinkle, Bradley Wrinkle, Christopher Knox, Katelyn Knox, Matthew Knox, and Sean Thomas Knox; and his step-grandchildren, Brian Gordon, Robby Wrinkle, Jesse Strong and Mason Orr.
