John McMahon Sr., 90, of Rockdale died Monday, May 7, 2018.
Visitation is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rock-dale.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at Klein Memorial Park in Magnolia.
Mr. McMahon was born Nov. 20, 1927, in Duncan, Oklahoma.
He married Marilyn Neoma Burleson on St. Patrick’s Day in 1962.
Mr. McMahon worked at Weyerhauser as a plant controller for years and enjoyed fishing, watching westerns and his Arkansas football.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn McMahon; a grandson, Nathan McMahon; and his brothers, Lewis McMahon, James McMahon and Paul McMahon.
Survivors are five sons, John A McMahon Jr. and wife Suzie of Rockdale, Brett McMahon and wife Rachel of Cypress, Wade McMahon and wife Janice of Mount Pine, Arkansas, Clark McMahon of Rochester, New York, Richard McMahon of South Carolina; a daughter, Rhonda Kemp and husband Dale of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his grandchildren, John David McMahon, Bobby McMahon, Paula Kemp, Evan Kemp, Laetitia Johnson McMahon, Hayli Kay McMahon, Cole McMahon, Tyler McMahon, Summer McMahon, Matt Turner and Tasha Stenning; his great-grandchildren, Shelbi, Cannon, Nora, Alexis, Jaelynn, Seth, Briella, Alivia, Mason, Lucy, Oliver, Charlotte and Henry; a brother, Sam McMahon and wife Caroline of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a sister, Ruth Ann Kirtley and husband George of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
