Laura Ann Mitchell, 70, of Rockdale passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Ascens ion Seton Williamson in Round Rock.
She was born Sept. 24, 1952, to Ulesly “Jim” Conner and Dorothy Mae Richards in San Gabriel.
She worked as a caregiver.
Ms. Mitchell was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Rockdale.
She was preceded in death by her mother; father; several sisters; several brothers; daughter, Wanda Mitchell; and son, Charles Mitchell.
Survivors are her sons, Terry Mitchell and wife Ora of Round Rock, Darren Mitchell and wife Monica of Hutto, Julius Mitchell and wife Anita of Kyle, Gregory Mitchell and wife TaSheena of Pflugerville, Wendell Mitchell and wife Sharee of Rockdale; the father of her children, Lois Ray Mitchell of Rockdale; her grandchildren, Tevin, Visha, Keiondra, Dajia, Velma, Wendell, Drew, Te’Audra, Rece, Trey, Jaxon, Genesis, Georgia, Tristan, Myles and James Webb; and her great-grandchildren, King, Kenneth III, Keelan, Kai, Justin, Jr., and Juelz.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at First Pentecostal Church in Rockdale with Pastor Scott Hillman officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. at the church.
