Nancy Elizabeth Jones Pick was born July 23, 1955, in Rockdale to Edward and Jessie Jones. She attended school in Trinit y and Mart. She was very active in sports activities and she graduated from Mar t High School in 1973.
She had two daughters, Amanda Grace and Bethany Clay.
She was employed by Missouri Pacific Railroad as an office clerk. After many years of clerical work, she was employed by Rail Crew until her retirement.
Nancy married Albert Pick on Dec. 30, 1982, and lived in Palestine, Tennessee Colony.
She fought a hard fight with thyroid cancer and breast cancer but won both battles.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Pick, on April 29, 2006; her parents, Edward Jones on Aug. 20, 1985, and Jessie Grace Cannaday Jones on May 6, 2006; brothers Buddy, George and Carl Jones; sisters Anita Trow, Vicki Ramey and Cheryl Rushing.
She is survived by two daughters, Amanda Grace Medina and husband Ryan and their children, Carson and Anjelica, Malachie, Nehemiah, Immanuel and Kynlee Grace of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Bethany Clay Smith and sons Cody Jones and Noah Smith of Fort Worth; brother Richard Jones and wife Kay of Trinity; sister Sandy Sledge and husband Rusty of Rockdale; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
