ROYSE CITY—Betty Sue Roesler-Phillips, 72, of Royse City died Sunday March 4, 2018.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 7, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel in Cooper. Interment followed at Oaklawn Cemetery. Tom Oneal offi ciated.
Mrs. Phillips was born Oct. 26, 1945, in Milam County to Willie Adolph and Florence Ivene “Kraatz” Roesler.
She married John M. Phillips on March 19, 1966, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 29, 2008.
Mrs. Phillips worked in banking services for 46 years, retiring from Bank of America in 2010.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed square dancing.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, John Marshall Phillips; two sisters: Sherial Williams and Gloria Phillips; and a brother, David Roesler.
Survivors include a sister, Joyce Reynolds of Buckholts; two brothers, Billy Roesler of Pearland, John Roesler of Lewis-ville; and six nieces, Stacy Phillips and Stephanie Bouvier, both of Royse City, Monica Lunsford of Crandall, Jamie Roesler of Mesquite, Shelley Pilkington of Terrell, Rachel Roesler of Lewisville; also, several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Kristopher Mendoza, Jonathon Phillips, Joseph Mendoza, Jorge Mendoza, Les Lundsford and Joe Hernandez.
