Daphanie Spiers, 34, passed away on Oct. 20, 2025.
She was born in Rockdale and spent most of her life there and in the surrounding rural towns.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Julian Tovar, Barbara Walter, and James and Charlotte Spiers; her mother, Lena Tovar; her brother, Joshua Spiers; and her aunt, Alene Talafuse and uncle Tiger Tovar.
She is survived by her father, Robert Spiers; her sisters, Brittany Spiers and Missy Crawford; sister-inlaw Leah Spiers; her nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins; and her children, who are being lovingly cared for by their grandparents.
A private remembrance will be held for family.
In her memory, the family asks that people offer kindness and patience to those who are struggling — something Daphanie herself needed.
