Mrs. Torres
The family of Isidora Salazar de Torres, 81, of Minerva will receive friends for visitation from: 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. A memorial service will follow from 2 to 3 p.m.
Isidora was born on April 13, 1943, in Mexico to Ernesto Salazar Peña and Delfina Estrada Castillo.
She passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 30, at Temple Baylor Scott & White Hospital, surrounded by her family.
A resident of Minerva, she married Maximino Torres on June 9, 1960, and together they had five children.
Isidora was preceded in death by her son, Javier Torres; her parents; five brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors are her children, Antonia Torres and husband Guillermo Torres, Luz Torres- Meyer, Max Torres, Sonia Torres-Boussart and husband Gerardo Boussart.
She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
