Free water aerobics offered at City Pool Free water aerobics take place every Wednesday from 12-noon to 12:50 p.m. at the City Pool in Veteran’s Park in Rockdale. Bring a towel, a floaty and two Frisbees or weights. Water aerobics are sponsored by Rockdale Community Market and Hutto YMCA.

Things change but that does not mean things get better, right? I guess when they invented face masks it would have helped my dad with his looks (he would have had more teeth) but I’m not sure how it would have impacted his playing ability. If that makes sense?

CHAMPIONS— Thorndale Bulldog cheerleaders went to UCA cheer camp recently and came home champions. The squad won Dance Routine Championship, Cheer Routine Championship and All-Around Performance Championship. Special shout out to Audrie Jordan, Jordyn Stutts, Taydan Garcia and Lyla Patin who were named All-American Cheerleaders. Senior Stutts was also a recipient of the Pin it Forward award and was asked to tryout for the UCA staff. Thorndale High School photo

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 0.52 feet above pool. good to 4 pounds in 3-5 feet of water. Crappie are brush piles. White bass are good on slab spoons fished on roadbeds and ridges. Blue catfish are good along shallow wind blown shorelines. Yellow catfish are good on live bait.

Fit 22 football clinic to be held Saturday

Thorndale Coach Deron Clay will be producing his fifth annual Fit 22 football clinic at Rockdale High School’s Tiger Stadium from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. This unique day camp includes specialized training for the individual football player.
