MLK parade January 20th

The annual Martin Luther King Day Parade will be held at 1 p.m. Monday starting at Wolf Park, going down US 79 and ending at Sumuel Park where there will be refreshments of hot dogs and chili dogs and drinks.

St. Paul BBQ fundraiser, auction

St. Paul Lut heran Church and School will hold its annual barbecue dinner and live auction fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Thorndale Fireman’s Hall on FM 486 North. The meal will consist of brisket with sauce, noodles, pinto beans, potato salad, pickles, onions and bread.
