Let’s Ride!
RIDING THROUGH THE CITY–The 21st annual MARC Ride took place throughout Milam County as well as parts of Lee and Burleson County. The community-wide extravaganza raised approximately $48,000 for the Milam Adult Resource Center. Stops on the trail for bikers included Cyndi’s Hawg Hang Out (near Deanville), Nat’s in Milano, Cliff’s Tavern, VFW Post No. 6525 and The Ranch, where riders called it a day and ate some barbeque before a live auction. MARC is a place where adults with physical and learning disabilities are taught valuable skills to help them in their everyday life. Reporter photos by Wynton Thomason

I talked with Delores Fisher Monday morning and they are having to have new flooring put in their home. That sounds like a job that will take a while.
