The college junior who used to live at our house (our youngest daughter) and now attends Houston Baptist University came home for spring break. She brought an ex-boyfriend home with her, someone we have met several times. They are just good friends now, really good friends.

Annual MARC Run set for April 14

The 17th annual MARC Run, brought to you by The Bad To The Bone Riders of Rockdale, will be held Saturday, April 14, at The Ranch, 415 W. Hwy 79, in Rockdale, according to Charles Starr, spokesman. The annual ride benefits the Milam Adult Resource Center here in Rockdale.

iTigers group heads toward final six weeks

Spring is in the air, and in less than two weeks, Rockdale ISD will be set to begin our final six weeks of school. We will also begin our STAAR Testing in a few weeks as well, where our campuses hope to excel.

CAMERON—It’s shaping up to be another banner year for the Milam County Junior Livestock Show which ended Saturday night with the annual auction benefiting Milam FFA and 4-H youth. Preliminary total after Saturday’s sale was $206,325. Added money is being prepared this week.
