To sow spiritual seeds means that we do spiritual work. Spiritual work is always interior work first, even if, as a matter of course, this work becomes manifest through exterior action. What is this interior work by which we sow the seeds of the celestial within us?
Milano ISD has changed its Pre-Kindergarten Round-up to a virtual event rather than in-person. Parents of children turning 4 by or on Sept. 1 have their first opportunity to learn more about Pre-K for the 2020-21 on Aug. 3. This will all be done via a Zoom meeting. SPECIAL GIFT—Rockdale Memorial Post 6525 Auxiliary presented a check in the amount of $300 to Elissa Benford-Roberts for the City of Rockdale Friends of Veterans Park monuments project. The funds will be used to help purchase five military branch monuments that will be placed to honor our local veterans. The farmers market has been having some good watermelons lately. In my family we tend to eat it plain—some with salt and some without—but Lynn Young sent me this recipe for a watermelon salad that sounds very good and refreshing. And who doesn’t need something refreshing with the hot weather we’ve been having.
I have the best family and friends! Saturday was my birthday and they went all out for me. We had a delicious meal and I got so many nice gifts! Can’t beat that.
