Responded to: • 2721 Charles Martin Hall Road along with Thorndale VFD for a grass fire on Oct. 1 at 2:44 p.m. • 1902 Yokley for a fire alarm on Oct. 12 at 6:34 a.m. • Near North FM 487 and FM 1600 for a smell of smoke but were unable to locate on Oct. 5 at 10:01 p.m.

Rockdale Fair Association is gearing up for the 2024 Rockdale Fair and Rodeo which begins on Wednesday, Oct. 16, with family night at the carnival. The Miss Rockdale Fair Pageant will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct.

ROYALTY

Izabella Delgadillo was crowned Rockdale Homecoming Queen on Friday night at Tiger Field and was escorted by her father, Juan Delgadillo.

HERE THEY COME

Rockdale’ Finest Police and firemen loaded with RHS cheerleaders on top of the truck led Wednesday’s homecoming parade followed by the Golden Girls, color guard and the Big Blue Band.

FAIR QUEEN CONTESTANTS

The Rockdale Fair Queen pageant will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in Rockdale High School auditorium.
