Thorndale Town & County Club’s recent community service project was making blankets for residents at Rockdale Estates and Rehabilitation. Each member completed at least one blanket, and some completed more than one.

Rockdale Christmas Roundup has begun, and applications can be found online at rockdaleisd. net . Hard copies of the applications can be picked up at The Rockdale Reporter, Rockdale Signs, local churches and any Rockdale ISD, Milano ISD, or Gause ISD office.

Thrifty shopping

First Christian Church will hold a Christmas Thrift Extravaganza in the fellowship hall, this Saturday, Nov. 15, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. • Holiday Shopping: Discover thrifted and gently used items for gift-giving, and decorating.
