Rockdale officer works 3 wrecks with 2 in one day

Three no-reported-injury accidents kept officer Christain Fain busy over the past week. On Saturday he worked an accident in front of a flower/gift shop on U.S. 79 at 10:58 a.m. Two vehicles were involved in that wreck.

Baby boomlet happens at Fort Worth hospital

A COVID baby boom had been expected but it never happened – at least not on a nationwide scale, says the Association of Mature American Citizens. But Andrews Women's Hospital in Fort Worth experienced a mini boom recently, delivering 107 newborns in the space of just 91 hours.

FOOTBALL CAMP—A freshman football camp will be held for incoming freshmen July 26-27. The camp is free and will be held from 8-11 a.m. both days. It will provide instruction, competitive drills and activities to get a jump-start on the upcoming season.

I’m another year older. I celebrated my 80th birthday on Sunday with family and friends who are like family. I know I can’t do some of the things I did at an earlier age, but I don’t care. If it is something that I need done, I just ask for help and always get it.
