100 YEARS AGO The new Dixie Theater, a $25,000 theater owned and operated by C.W. Matson, of this city, is the latest addition to Rockdale’s business district. The new Dixie is one of the most modern and comfortable theaters in central Texas, with seating capacity of 500.
