Much has been written about Charles Starr, Neil and Cynthia Ferrell and The Bad to the Bone Riders. And rightly so. Even though the MARC Center receives donations and memorials throughout the year, their MARC Ride is the main source of income for the center.

Things are looking rather bleak for the church as an institution in the latest Gallup polling. From the Gallup website: “Americans’ membership in houses of worship continued to decline last year, dropping below 50% for the first time in Gallup’s eight-decade trend.

Milam County tire clean up a huge success

We have been working for the last couple of years to clean up Milam County. We have aggressively pursued cleanup litigation for those who violate the Health and Safety Code. We have issued felony indictments for several individuals involved in illegal dumping.

Milam County vaccination incentive for children

Today, the Milam County Commissioners Court took a historic action by unanimously voting to award each Milam County child between the ages of 12 and 17 a monetary incentive of $250 per child to get fully vaccinated.
