Rockdale PD makes felony arrest, responds to four accidents

Rockdale Police Officers made one felony arrest during the past week. • Laura Michelle Costilla, 48, Rockdale, was arrested on Monday on two counts of possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram). Accidents Ofc.

Responded to: • 1503 Skyles for a medial assist on Tuesday. • 716 West Cameron for a one vehicle crash that struck a gas line on Tuesday. • 400 East Cameron for traffic control on Sunday. • 300 block of South FM 487 for a one vehicle crash with injuries on Monday.

Ag boosters selling fundraiser tickets

The Milano/Gause Ag Booster Club has tickets for sale for a pulled pork sandwich fundraiser. Your $12 ticket will get a sandwich, chips and a drink. This event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New Salem Hall in FairPark, Rockdale. GOLD OUT— Milano’s Gold Out football game will be held Sept. 22.

Rockdale Rotary Club meets the first, third and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch is provided. Rockdale Noon Lion’s Club also meets at RVFD on the first and third Wednesday of each month with lunch provided.
