It’s lambing season in Texas. Late February and early March is generally when ewes present to the world their offspring. Lambs are extensively raised in Texas, which is the top sheep-producing state in the nation. With a total sheep and lamb flock of 700,000 head as of early 2026.

‘Well done!’

When a king’s face brightens, it means life; his favor is like a rain cloud in spring. (Proverbs 16:15) Iwould think most Christians have a strong desire to hear Jesus say, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21).

Sliders and some Easter food

Mom made Muffuletta Sliders for a church function and a garden club function, and I got to try one. Man, was it good. I asked her for the recipe she used, but it turned out she just made it up.
