Fresh spring salad recipes

Did you eat too much at Easter? We kept it pretty simple and had roast chicken with veggies and a salad since it was only us Rockdale folks this year. But we had three desserts: a homemade chocolate cake with chocolate icing, a peach cobbler and a cherry dessert that Betty Headrick made.

The youngest Easter Egg hunters had a great time on Friday morning at the annual PTO Easter Egg Hunt at Fair Park. The day also included photos with the Easter Bunny as well as games, bounce houses and face painting
