Joel Dwight Graham, 63, of Rockdale, died peacefully at 6:30 a.m. Feb. 17, 2020, in Temple. He was surrounded by family and visited by friends in his final days and hours during his short battle with cancer. No services are planned at this time. Mr. Graham was born Jan.

Roy Glenn Mayfield Sr. was born on March 6, 1954, in New Braunfels to Jimmy Mayfield and Helen McCloud. He passed peacefully on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, at home next to his loving wife of 41 years, Judith Mayfield. Memorial services will be held at Apostolic Church of Lumberton, 1012 N. Main St.

Carol McDaniel, 69, of Rockdale died Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at her home in Rockdale. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Willie Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at 10th Street United Methodist Church in Taylor, with visitation before services starting at 1 p.m. Dr. Travis L. Ruth M. Johnson Boney, the 10th child of 10 children, was born to James Johnson and Lillie Miller Johnson on Sept. 22, 1922, in Rockdale. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at New Hope Baptist Church, 321 E. Third Ave., in Rockdale.
