CAMERON—Mildred Mary “Mickey” Calhoun, 106, of Cameron died Friday, Aug. 29, 2024, at her residence following a short illness. A public viewing for her was held Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Green- Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron. Mrs. Calhoun Graveside services were held Wednesday, Sept.

Laughlin

CALDWELL—Ruel Michael Laughlin II was born on May 29, 1967, in Baytown, to his parents, Sandra and Ruel Laughlin. He passed away on Aug. 28, 2024, at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, surrounded by his family and friends. Michael graduated from Caldwell High School in 1985.

Mrs. Torres The family of Isidora Salazar de Torres, 81, of Minerva will receive friends for visitation from: 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. A memorial service will follow from 2 to 3 p.m.

CANYON—Julia Ca r o l “Judy” Pletcher, 91, of Canyon passed away Friday, Aug. 23, 2024. Services wi ll be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, a t Brooks Chapel in Canyon. Graveside ser vices will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Ochil tree County Cemetery in Perryton.

Robert “Bobby” Light was an avid sportsman with a deep love for fishing, hunting, barbecuing, farming and loving his family and friends dearly each and every day. He passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

Hail CAMERON—Dennis Miles Hail passed away on Aug. 15, 2024, peacefully after a shor t but hard - fough t battle with kidney cancer. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Dennis was born Feb. 8, 1947, in Plainview to Wilbor and Melba Davis Hail.

Mrs. Wall

Wall Christene (Chris) Har t Wall, 99, of The Woodlands passed away Monday, Aug. 12, 2024. She was born April 8, 1925, to Jake Hart and Eudora Massey in Calvert. She married George Wall of San Antonio in 1950. They moved to Rockdale in 1953, then relocated to The Woodlands in 2018.

Mrs. Dixon Vivian Lanell Mayo Dixon, 83 of Georgetown passed away peacefully on Aug. 19, 2024. She was born in Little Chief, Oklahoma, on April 15, 1941, to Thurmond Guy and Viola Arbina (Davis) Mayo.
