Harold Clifford Parker, 85, of Rockdale passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Baylor, Scott & White Hospital in Temple. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at Salty Cemetery near Thorndale. A visitation will be held on from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Woelfel

Arthur E. Woelfel, age 89 of Thorndale, received his eternal salvation on Friday, April 26, 2024. Funeral services for Mr. Woelfel will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale w ith Pastor Jeff D oria officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery.

Bet t y Anne (Pelzel) Jezisek, 83 of Rockdale was welcomed to heaven on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Betty was born Oct. 26, 1940, to Henry Pelzel Sr. and Annie Emily Praesel in Milam County. Betty married her husband George Edward Jezisek on Sept. 27, 1957, in Rockdale.

Darrell Gene “Buddy” Paris, 89, of San Marcos passed away surrounded by his loving family Tuesday, April 9, 2024. A graveside service was held Monday, April 15, at Salty Cemetery with Pastor Matt Higginbotham officiating.

Danny Ray Kelley

Services for Danny Ray Kelley, 78, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Phillips & Lucke y Funeral Home in Rockdale. His brother-inlaw, Rev. Jim Muston, will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Visitation is set for 12:30 p.m.

Geraldine “Gerri” Waters

Long-time Rockdale resident Geraldine “Gerri” Waters left to see her Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Gerri was born June 15, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan. She was 90 years old at her passing. There are no services planned. Gerri moved to Rockdale as a teenager with her mother.

Clement James Tomek

CAMERON—Clement James Tomek, 100, of Cameron entered eternal life on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 7, 2024. He died peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born Nov. 1, 1923, in the Elm Ridge community on the same property on which he died. Clem was the son of Frank and Annie (Chernosky) Tomek.

Dorothy Ann Peschke Herzer

Dorothy Ann Peschke Herzer, age 90, of Georgetown, formerly of Rockdale, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024. She was a resident at Tiffin House Assisted Living and Memory Care in Georgetown, where she had lived for the past 7-1/2 years. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m.

LEXINGTON— Diane Elise Rhodes, 68, of Lexington, previously of Houston, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024. Born in Mobile, Alabama, Ms. Rhodes on Jan. 22, 1956, Diane was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and cousin.
