Carol Beth Hubert was born on Nov. 13, 1961 in Houston to Charles and Kittie Joyce Williams Hubert. She passed away on Jan. 17, 2022, at her home in Bryan.

Joyce McGuire, age 85 of Rockdale passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at her home in Teague, where she has been residing for the last 2½ years. Funeral service were held at 10 a.m.

Stimmel

Russell Wilson Stimmel, 60, passed away on May 4, 2022, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Stimmel and Madeline Wilson, and a sister, Cynthia Lynn Stimmel. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Renee (McQueen) Stimmel; stepsons Frank McQueen Jr.

John Davis Turner Jr. passed away peacefully on April 29, 2022. Johnny was born on July 11, 1948, in Bastrop, as his family was fishing the Colorado River when it was time for him to arrive.
