Three Rockdale youngsters will be at the Summer Games of Texas this weekend in College Station starting Friday Jaylen Miles earned his way to College Station after battling a case of meningitis to win two gold medals in the 800-meter run and the 200-meter dash. He also won silver in the 400.

Rockdale summer volleyball begins RHS hosted teams from Elgin, Snook and Mumford for the opening night of the Rock-dale Summer Volleyball League on Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers faced Elgin 2 and Snook 1 after press time. They face Elgin 2 again at 5:30p.m.

Fitness camp held at Tiger Stadium

The third annual MAK Agility Camp was a community event where kids ages 7-18 showed up to the new Tiger Stadium on Saturday morning and participated in speed, coordination and movement drills.
