The Rockdale Lady Tiger softball team fell to Troy 9-7 on Wednesday afternoon after a small comeback in their final at-bat where they scored three runs. “I’m really proud of our team’s grit and determination,” Coarch Erin Palmer said.

Rockdale track amps up for Cuero, Lexington

Jeter to lift at state powerlifting meet Rockdale High School powerlifter Nathan Jeter will represent RHS at the Texas High School Power-lifting Association Division III state championship on Friday and Saturday in Abilene at the Taylor County Expo Center.

Jeter punches ticket for state powerlifting meet

On Saturday, Rockdale High School’s Nathan Jeter left the Region II Division 3 powerlifting meet at West High School as a qualifier for the Texas High School Powerlifting Association’s Division III state meet that starts Friday, March 22 in Abilene. Jeter weighed in at 113.

Tiger baseballers win ‘Highway 79 Classic’

The Rockdale Tiger baseball team improved their record to 10-2-1 on Saturday after winning the Highway 79 Tournament. The Tigers opened the tournament with a 15-3 win over Bremond.

Tigers finish fourth at Giddings Relays

The Rockdale Tigers went into spring break with a fourth place at the Buffalo Relays in Giddings Friday. “I think overall, everybody performed pretty well,” said Lewis Edmondson, Rockdale High School boy’s head track coach.

Lady Tigers get first district loss in Lexington Friday

The Rockdale Lady Tiger softball team suffered their first District 19-3A loss on Friday night in Lexington 12-2, falling to a Lady Eagle squad that built an early lead and forced RHS to fight back for the entirety of the game.
