The cause of death for a Rockdale woman is under investigation. The Milam County Sheriff’s Office responded about 1p.m.

The US Bureau of Economic Analysis recently released its annual figure for Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by County. GDP is the measure of all goods produced and services provided with an area for a particular period of time. This figure shows that Milam County’s economy grew by 12.
The Bad to the Bone Riders raised $9,000 at the 19th annual Buddy Oney Toy Run on December 7 and distributed it to organizations all over Milam County including Thorndale Cares, Milam County Child Protective Services and Milam County Sheriff’s Office’s Brown Santa program.
Rockdale Rotary Club provided and served their annual Christmas lunch for the Senior Citizens Center on Green Street on Friday with turkey, ham, dressing and all the traditional side dishes. Each attendee received a goodie bag full of fun and practical gifts.
The Alcoa retirees met Dec. 12 for their quarterly meeting. The retirees brought food donations to share with local food banks.
Donations were delivered by Danny Masur to the Minerva Fire Department, Ruby Prazak to St.
Rockdale Community Market, 1613 W. Cameron Ave., will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for all your last-minute Christmas needs.

Garden Club seeks new members
Linwood Acres Garden Club meets at 10:30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at Becky’s Sandwich Shop, 2148 US 77, in Rockdale.
