Rockdale Fair scholarship forms due March 28th

The 2024 Rockdale Fair Scholarship forms are available at all Milam County high school counselor’s offices and at the 4-H County Extension Office. The scholarship forms must be postmarked by March 28.

Soup suppers will commence during Lent on each Wednesday. Delicious soups and desserts will be served at 6 p.m. followed by evening prayer, drama “Pilate’s Investigation,” and a study conducted by Pastor Welton. All are welcome.

At Monday night’s MDD board meeting, Economic Director Jim Gibson told the board that after SLR announces that they are building a 1,200-megawatt gas plant on their property in Lee County, he has received inquiries from 11 different businesses about possibly locating to Rockdale.
