• A two-vehicle minor accident on Tuesday. • Ofc. Lentz responded to US 77 near TxDOT for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries and out of the roadway on Monday.

Responded to: • 9570 CR 302 along with Blackjack VFD for a brush fire in Burleson County on Wednesday. • CR 320 for a report of an unattended fire but were unable to locate it on Thursday.

Rockdale Downtown Association’s annual Community Christmas Tree lighting was a big success last Thursday evening with the most attendees to date in the past three years.

LIGHT UP ROCKDALE

Juan Rubio and his crew put up lights on all the downtown buildings this year, the first decorations for Rockdale in three years. A group of individuals, organizations and businesses raised $32,850 for new decorations, and a workday on Saturday saw a lot of them go up.
