Davilla farmers market April 8

Milam CPS fundraiser for child abuse

The Milam County CPS Board will be selling these t-shir ts for their April fundraiser for National Child Abuse Prevention Month. All proceeds raised allow the board to ensure children in their care have Christmas every year, two clothing checks per year, birthday gift cards.

Gertharine Green had a happy 105th birthday on Sunday at a party surrounded by family and friends. Last year the city council renamed East Third Street in her honor and it is now known as East Gertharine Green Avenue.

The Rockdale Homecoming Association annual citywide homecoming will be Sunday, June 11 at the Patterson Civic Center. Rockdale High School Class of 1973 will be the honored class of 50 years. The Honored Business for 2023 is McVoy Grocery & Feed Store.

MVFD Auxiliary gathering donations for garage sale
