TEXAS MASTER NATURALISTS

The El Camino Real chapter Texas Master Naturalist class of 2023 finished 10 weeks of intensive learning about native Texas flora, fauna, soil and water on Thursday, April 6. The graduates will go on to become certified Texas Master Naturalists.

New pastor installation for Springfield BC

Springfield Missionary Baptist Church will hold an installation ceremony for their new pastor, Ronnnie Morgan, and First Lady Carolyn Morgan at First Baptist Church on Green Street at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23. Special guest speaker will be Rev. K.A.

In your Easter bonnet

Earth Day events coming up in Rockdale

Earth Day is next Saturday, April 22, but Rockdale Earth Day has many projects planned and our readers can volunteer for any of them. The organization’s Day of Community Service will take place on Friday, April 21.
