Christmas events this Saturday

Don’t miss Breakfast with Santa at the Patterson Center from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday. McDonald’s is providing pancakes, milk and juice. Arts and crafts projects are included in the $5 tickets. The Christmas Craft Market will be held at Wolf Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Genealogical Society meets Tuesday

The Milam County Genealogical Society will hold their December meeting at the Lucy Hill Patterson Library in Rockdale. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. Visitors are always welcome.

5th annual Tiger Tough Event sparks continued success

On Nov. 17, nearly 300 students from over 25 schools gathered at Perry and Perry Builders (PPB) Servicing Welders Across Texas (S.W.A.T) Building to compete and earn certifications at the 5th annual Tiger Tough Certification Event.

Wanda Sue and Alfred Coats had most of their family (around 42 people) for Thanksgiving and report having a wonderful day. One more month and this year will be gone. I’ve always heard time passes by faster the older you get. Thanksgiving Day our family went to Kristi and Jimmy’s for the day.
