Search warrant nets two suspects

On Dec. 22, the Criminal Investigation Division of the Milam County Sheriff’s Office and the Rockdale Police Department’s K-9 Unit executed a search warrant at an address in the 1500 block of County Road 458, south of the City of Thorndale.

2022 Year in Review: highlights from past year

JANUARY— The Milam County Medical Task Force released its findings about the county’s medical issues after having studied them since April of 2021. The task force determined over the past eight months: • It is not economically feasible to pursue after hours and/or urgent care in Milam County.

GO Car Wash, located at 681 W. US 79 in front of Walmart, is scheduled to hold their grand opening on Thursday, Jan. 5. They will be giving out free car washes from that day until Jan. 9. They will be selling monthly passes for $9.99 for the first month.
