RISD Christmas Band concert

The RISD Band program will hold its Christmas Concert on Thursday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. in the RHS auditorium. The night will feature the Rockdale Beginning Band, the concert/Symphonic Band, the Jazz Band and the Big Blue Band.

Milano Xmas parade to be held Saturday

The Milano Christmas parade will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. This is always a fun event for the entire community. CHRISTMAS PREP— The preparation for Christmas gets harder and easier every year. Sometimes we get lost in all of the chaos, lights and sounds of the season.

Our Christmas sweet tooth

Let's talk about desserts this week. Even though I'm diabetic, I will still eat desserts around the holidays and pay for it later when I have my A1C checked and see the look on Terri Buchanan's face when it isn't good. Here's an easy one that sounds good to me.
